Wheel Throwing Thurs 2-5pm Class 2022
Learn something new everyday!

Learning a new skill is always so rewarding with a great sense of achievement. For the 3 hour class you will be able to learn the basics from weighing up your clay, wedging, centering and pulling up the walls of your pots and using tools to create some beautiful bowls or cups. I will demonstrate the process to you and the rest of the time you will be on the wheel creating your masterpieces with lots of fun, help and guidance along the way. If you are an improver and wish to tackle a particular shape then just let me know and I will taylor the class to suit your needs. We'll have a break for tea/coffee and homemade cake half way through- which is always a good time for a recap to continue creating for the last hour or so. Your favourite pots (up to 4) will then be dried, bisque fired and then glazed with a colour of your choosing and fired again for you. Collection is normally about 4 weeks later, an email will be sent to you when they are ready for collection from the box situated by the bins. There are 2 spaces available per class so you might be sharing with another potter or you can book up both spaces to share with a friend if available. Alternatively if you wish to have the class to yourself please book both spaces and let me know it will just be you!
